Bob Marley was born Robert Nesta Marley in Nile St Ann in Jamaica his early education included attending Stephney Primary and Junior high School in catchment St Ann. while at catchment Marley got an early introduction to music alongside his childhood friend Neville Livingston. At about age 12 or there about Bob Marley moved to kingston with his family and resided in Trench Town.

The move from St Ann to Trench Town could have been disastrous for Bob Marley but he made it a  perfect opportunity, it gave him access to the the world of music in Jamaica where he pursued his craft. Much of Bob Marley's music were stories of life and  living in the Ghettos of Trench town, "Stand up for your right", "cold Ground was my bed last night and rock was my pillow" "Trench Town Rock"  are all  stories of life in the Ghettos of Kingston. 

Marley a Rastafarian by religion or cult  gained international fame was signed to musical contract by Island Records while signed Marley won a Grammy and had several #1 hits on Billboard. After his passing Marley became more famous with estate annual earning in 2015 compared with Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and some of the other top earning artist dead and alive. 

Marley is survived by his wife Rita Marley and international star of some measure and his many children and grand children.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion as you said. However, you sound very negative. By the sound of it you are not even in Jamaica, so how can you speak for what is happening now as opposed to when you were here? If it is oh so good why did you leave? Food costs in Jamaica are not very different from those in America. The Price for food is only better in the $ stores or when there is a sale. I have done the comparison. 

The salary scale, on the other hand, bears no comparison and that will need to change for people to manage a bit better. The majority of Jamaicans are tired of going to the supermarket and being barely able to purchase basic necessities. They hope that the change will be for the better. That is important; HOPE. The minute there is no hope in any of the parties then all is lost. The PNP were confident that the Jamaican people liked what they were doing to us and the country based on how long we have allowed them to run the country. 

Changing Posture of Jamaica's Electorate

Most people did not vote in JLP because of the promises they made but to get a change, different perspectives for better or worst. The ruling party, whether PNP or JLP, need to be aware that they work for us and if they do not perform then goodbye.We all need to not vote at all if we are unsatisfied with the representation offered and not just vote to get a particular party in. For that matter, as a part of this wonderful democratic process, we should be able to nominate our MPs instead of those stupid die-hearted party delegates. Allegiance to a party name is stupid as the country is run by individuals. Does anyone notice how they jump from one party to the other at the drop of a hat? Where was Cardinal Dolan during the Priest Sex Scandal? Was he a part of covering up for the abusive Priests in his Parish? How much did Cardinal Dolan know about the abuses or acts of sodomy of Boys before by his priests.

Before Cardinal Dolan continue to "hold the Government accountable for acting in the best interest of all its citizens" as is its duty, this Leader of the New York Diocese Cardinal Dolan should start holding his Flock accountable protecting little boys and male members of his flock from his Priests may Sodomize them.

When Cardinal Dolan and the Catholic Church convinces is Parishioners that Birth control methods are IMMORAL then they would have reached their objective a conversation would no longer be necessary. The truth is that, "Catholic Parishioners while they continue to respect their Church no longer find life's reality fitting into some teaching of the Church", People are evolving and the Church is way behind the people they serve.

The Church paid in the region of $2 Billion dollars to get that scandal behind them, the Catholic Church has not recovered from that experience. Norman Washington Manley was born to mixed-race parents in Roxborough in Jamaica's Manchester parish, on 4 July 1893. His father Thomas Albert Samuel Manley, the out-of-wedlock son of a former slave and an English merchant from Yorkshire, worked as an agricultural businessman; he sold Jamaican spices and fruit to the United States. Norman Manley's mother, Margaret Shearer, was the daughter of a mixed-race woman and her ethnic Irish husband, a pen-keeper.

Manley was a brilliant scholar, soldier and athlete, and studied law at Jesus College, Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. He served in the Royal Field Artillery during World War I, and was awarded the Military Medal (M.M.).

After suffrage was approved in 1944, Manley had to wait ten years and two terms before his party was elected to office. He was a strong advocate of the Federation of the West Indies, established in 1958.

Ocho Rios (Spanish for "Eight Rivers") is a town in the parish of Saint Ann on the north coast of Jamaica. Although he landed in many spots along the Jamaican coast, many believe that Christopher Columbus first set foot on land in Ocho Rios. Just outside the city, travelers and residents can visit Columbus Park, where Columbus supposedly first came on land, and see maritime artifacts and Spanish colonial buildings.

Once a fishing village Ocho Rios now well known as the second of Jamaica's tourism communities. It is a port of call for cruise ships hosting several of Carnival Cruise lines and other cruises weekly as well as cargo ships loading sugar, limestone, and in the past, bauxite.

The name "Ocho Rios" is a misnomer because there are not eight rivers in the area. It is most likely a British corruption of the original Spanish name "Las Chorreras" ("the waterfalls"), a name given to the village because of the nearby Dunn's River Falls.

The north coast highway from the international airport at Montego Bay to Ocho Rios has been improved since 2000 and the journey is now an hour and forty five minutes drive. On 26 August 2011, Jamaicas government announced a $21 million revitalization plan for the resort area.

The town has restaurants, night clubs in Margaritaville and Dolphin Cove, where tourists swim and interact with dolphins. Scuba diving and other water sports are offered in the town's vicinity.

He also attended the elementary schools in St. Ann's Bay during his youth.  While attending these schools, Garvey first began to experience racism. When he was younger, he used to be friends and play with his white neighbors. However, when they reached their teenage years, they began to shun him. Sometime in 1900, Garvey entered into an apprenticeship with his uncle, Alfred Burrowes, who also had an extensive library, of which young Marcus made good use.

My family and friends were subjected to the letter below after one of my e-mail addresses  was hacked, the good thing is most of my friends and family are smart people and wouldn't fall for such a cheap scam. Am sure some thought of all the probabilities and possibilities and were scared for the moment. 

The good thing am always 8-10 hours from communication with most of my friends acquaintances and others with whom I am in contact on a regular basis. The thing to be aware of is, most of us us operate on the internet daily as I do weather at home or at work and today by our cell phone and other devices. 

Do not allow Hackers to scare from getting on your computer or any of these devices that make us more accessible to our friends, our family and cause us to make that extra trip to the Bank or to a department store to pay a Bill because of these common thieves who call themselves Hackers.

The letter below does not represent how I operate as well as its fraught with  erroneous assumptions so my close friends and family took the necessary steps and were assured I was fine.

Mental illness is again used as an excuse for these killings, exactly where the NRA want this conversation to take place. Did I also mention 20 Babies were also killed even then only 53% of Americans support legislation to control automatic weapons while 87% support the right to bear arms!

Army Gen. Carter Ham, then the head of the U.S. Africa Command, did not wait for the separate cable, however. Instead, after reading the Aug. 16 cable, Ham phoned Stevens and asked if the embassy needed a special security team from the U.S. military. Stevens told Ham it did not, the officials said. 

“He didn't say why. He just turned it down,”

Officials have publicly referred to Ham’s phone call before. In his Feb. 7 testimony before the House Armed Services Committee, Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the military was aware of the Aug. 16 cable and that someone had turned down Ham’s offer.

“As far as Mr. Hicks knows, the ambassador always wanted more security and they were both frustrated by not getting it,” she said.

Some Republican lawmakers expressed surprise when told that Stevens had turned down such an offer.

Ambassador Christopher Stevens was by all account was a good man, will be remembered by the people of Libya for his efforts in bringing some semblance of order after the fall of the Qaddafi government. Chris Stevens will also be remembered by the citizens of the United States for his service as an ambassador and public service.

It is most important that we take lesson learned from the tragedy in Bengazi, Ambassadors and those the United States in foreign Nations cannot on their own determine when security is sufficient when and where, this is not a case of cowboy diplomacy but why did an ambassador refuse additional security at such a dangerous time?. Mitt Romney Was The First Losing Presidential Candidate Not To Attend Inauguration Since 1989. In January 2013, The Huffington Post reported that "an aide told NBC News that Romney was at his beach home in La Jolla, Calif., during Obama's inauguration. While Romney reportedly had 'no big plans,' the aide said it was "doubtful" that Romney would watch the ceremony. Rifle used by 5-yr.old Boy in Death of Sister

A 5-year-old Kentucky boy was using a rifle made for children by Keystone Sporting Arms when police say shot and killed his 2 year old sister. The boy commonly used the .22-caliber "Crickett" kids rifle which he received as a gift last year, for hunting with his father.

Police say they were called to the family's home in Burkesville, Ky. after the Keystone Sporting Arms rifle went off and hit 2-year-old Caroline Sparks in the chest around 1 p.m. Tuesday, She later died at Cumberland County Hospital. no charges were yet filed, but a grand jury could have the final say. In Kentucky there are laws dealing with handguns and kids, but not for the Keystone Sporting Arms rifle used in this incident.

"Crickett" rifles are made by, Keystone Sporting Arms, are marketed as "My First Rifle" on the Pennsylvania manufacturer's website. Trooper Billy Gregory, "the gun used in the incident was kept in a corner of the house and the family did not realize that a shell had been left in it".

Investigation into the shooting is ongoing and could take weeks or even months, police say. If the reputable Keystone Sporting Arms existed before selling Guns to our children they can no longer be found on the Internet. Just like the National Rifle association went in silence after the Sandy Hook shooting Keystone Sporting Arms have removed themselves from the web and are no longer available for comment. The people who defend selling Guns and marketing kids rifle  to children criminals and may even make those weapons available to those who may harm our Nation cannot defend those 2nd amendment rights when the most vulnerable among us is armed with one of their weapons.

Our children are now expendable in the name of our 2nd amendment right, weather they are in a school in Sandy Hook, a movie Theater or a family home in Burkesville Kentucky while a mother left the area where the kids were playing to the Porch.
