Stupid Hackers! Common Criminals, Fight Back!

Do not let Hackers stop your internet engagement.

My family and friends were subjected to the letter below after one of my e-mail addresses  was hacked, the good thing is most of my friends and family are smart people and wouldn't fall for such a cheap scam. Am sure some thought of all the probabilities and possibilities and were scared for the moment.

The good thing am always 8-10 hours from communication with most of my friends acquaintances and others with whom I am in contact on a regular basis. The thing to be aware of is, most of us us operate on the internet daily as I do weather at home or at work and today by our cell phone and other devices.

Do not allow Hackers to scare from getting on your computer or any of these devices that make us more accessible to our friends, our family and cause us to make that extra trip to the Bank or to a department store to pay a Bill because of these common thieves who call themselves Hackers.

The letter below does not represent how I operate as well as its fraught with  erroneous assumptions so my close friends and family took the necessary steps and were assured I was fine.

                                           ------------------------------------------------------

copy of letter circulated to contacts by hackers.

Hello,

I'm sorry I didn't inform you about my traveling,am writing this with tears in my eyes, my family and i came down here to Manila, Philippines for a short vacation and got mugged at gun point last night at the park of the hotel where we lodged...All cash, credit cards and cell were stolen off me...I've been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all.

Am freaked out right now Please reply and let me if can you have the money wire to me through western union I'll surely get the money back to you in couple of days.

                                                    -----------------------------------------------------------------

  • If you're on the internet have as many friend you want, do not allow the fear of hacking to limit your use of the internet.
  • You are already on the internet, having an e-mail address only allow you to see what everyone else knows about you.
  • The more friends and family you are connected on the internet is the quicker some one will be alerted in an emergency, the more likely you will have a birthday wish and you will never feel alone.
  • Do not let Hackers stop your internet engagement fight back, be smart do not fill out solicitations from companies you cannot verify,
  • Do not share your password and personal information with anyone.
  • If you have to enter  your social Security Number  on line only do so if its encrypted.
  • get a reliable Anti Virus protection to protect your computer these we know are not 100% fool proof but will reduce the damage if your system is attacked.

Backgammon Set

Deluxe Backgammon Set

Deluxe Wooden Chess Backgammon Set will entertain you for hours. This deluxe backgammon set features beautiful wood styling and inlaid playing surface. The board conveniently folds into a carrying case.

Backgammon is one of the oldest board games for two players. The playing pieces are moved according to the roll of dice, and players win by removing all of their pieces from the board. There are many variants of backgammon, most of which share common traits. Backgammon is a member of the tables family, one of the oldest classes of board games in the world.

Although luck is involved and factors into the outcome, strategy plays a more important role in the long run. With each roll of the dice, players must choose from numerous options for moving their checkers and anticipate possible counter-moves by the opponent. Players may raise the stakes during the game. There is an established repertoire of common tactics and occurrences.
Like chess, backgammon has been studied with great interest by computer scientists. Owing to this research, backgammon software has been developed capable of beating world-class human players.

Rules

Backgammon playing pieces are known variously as checkers, draughts, stones, men, counters, pawns, discs, pips, chips, or nips.
The objective is to remove (bear off) all of one's own checkers from the board before one's opponent can do the same. The checkers are scattered at first and may be blocked or hit by the opponent. As the playing time for each individual game is short, it is often played in matches, where victory is awarded to the first player to reach a certain number of points.

CEOs Join's the President on Tax Increases.

"With their votes, the American people determined that governing will now be a shared responsibility between parties,"

Obama Calls for Revenue-Neutral Corporate Tax Reform

The CEO's, in a statement to be released on Thursday, say any fiscal plan "that can succeed both financially and politically" has to limit the growth of health-care spending, make Social Security solvent and "include comprehensive and pro-growth tax reform, which broadens the base, lowers rates, raises revenues and reduces the deficit."

The CEO's who signed the
manifesto deem tax increases inevitable no matter which party succeeds at the polls in November. "There is no possible way; you can do the arithmetic a million different ways" to avoid raising taxes, said Mark Bertolini, CEO of Aetna. "You can't tax your way to fix this problem, and you can't cut entitlements enough to fix this problem."

"With their votes, the American people determined that governing will now be a shared responsibility between parties," Obama said, referring to the 2010 midterm elections. "New laws will only pass with support from Democrats and Republicans. We will move forward together, or not at all -- for the challenges we face are bigger than party, and bigger than politics."

Mitt Romney does no even like the Bushes Dog!

On June 27, 2007, The Boston Globe reported that in 1983 the Romney family strapped the dog in a crate on the roof of the family station wagon and drove 12 hours from Boston to a lake house in Ontario. Somewhere along the way, poor Seamus soiled the crate and the car's back window. As The Globe reported it, Romney stopped at a gas station, hosed down Seamus and the car, put the dog back into the wind-protected kennel and drove on.

Three days later, Globe reporter Michael Levenson wrote that "Time.com's swampland blog has been flooded with more than 300 comments from readers complaining of animal cruelty.

Bo welcome President Obama

Based on the behavior of previous four-legged White House occupants, it is hard to draw too many conclusions. During the George W. Bush presidency, Barney the Scottish terrier had his own Web page on www.whitehouse.gov (which he shared with the Bushes’ other dog, Miss Beasley , and showed his gratitude by biting a Reuters reporter during the administration’s waning days. Socks and Buddy, the Clinton's  cat and dog, drew enough mail that Hillary Rodham Clinton assembled a book of letters, though Socks’s nastiness to Buddy got him gifted to Betty Currie whenthe Clinton's left the White House.

Get Money Out of Politics

Dylan Rattigan is a  Popular talk show Host and has dedicated some time to Get Money Out of Politics through Constitutional Changes

Today we face a crushing burden of foreclosures, dropping incomes, and a financial elite that has bought our government. The elite consensus is powerful enough to prevent change, no matter who is elected. The situation seems, at least in electoral terms, hopeless. Yet, America has been here before, and has shown remarkable resilience in the darkest of times.

Wall Street from New York Harbor

So just how do we get the debate we deserve? How do we root out the corruption, greed, and fraud in our system? Clearly, the root of much evil in our system of government comes from the financing of political campaigns by powerful interests. And the Supreme Court has said that money is speech, and thus, protected by the Constitution. So we must pass a Constitutional amendment to speak back to the Supreme Court, and assert the primacy of government by the people.

Chris Blackwell Strawberry Hill

Chris Blackwell Strawberry Hill Jamaica

Over the weekend of April 16-18, approximately 100 persons milled around at Strawberry Hill for a game, new recognized by some Jamaicans, but a point of social contact for many others.
It was the fifth annual Strawberry Hill High Stakes Backgammon Tournament, organized by Alastair Macbeth, which welcomed 26 entrants vying for their share of 2 million dollars in prizes.
One female, Lisa Gabor from NYC, along with 25 male competitors such as William Mahfood, Ruddy Armstrong, Mike Hirst, Balsam Vaswani, Dwight Sangster, Andrew Issa who had been playing at various spots, at times on their computers, entered the battle of skill, strategy and risk. Others supporting included Damian P Daley and Patrick Ewbank day.

Chris Blackwell, owner of Strawberry Hill, tournament’s title sponsor, played host, and an exemplary host he was. He with the support of sponsors such as Wray Nephew, Wisynco Ocean Spray and Haagen Daz ensured that nobody was left wanting. Property manager Nicholas Lynch, and his smiling team kept everyone fed, and warm. For added warmth, there was a cozy fireplace, and, Joe Adduci had his brand cigars for those who smoked. The weekend started with a cocktail party on Friday evening, and a one-night knockout Sniper Tournament with 16 entrants vying for Dickie Jobson (deceased member) Memorial Award. Aaron Johnston copped this award along with $50,000.

That Friday evening, after an informative welcome address by organizer Alastair Macbeth, all specially invited guests and players feasted on a Jamaican meal starting with pumpkin soup as appetizer. This was energy for the sniper tournament which was to last until almost 3 am Saturday morning.
Saturday was relaxing, with a round robin segment, and ending in a night of rain watching and memory collecting. Planned entertainment by Gramps Morgan was put off by the after effects of the erupting volcano in Iceland, which had rippling effects on the artiste schedule in London, but there were Latin music beats to soothe all weekend long.
