Republicans For Rape?

Missouri Republican Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin, “If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”

Republicans for Legitimate Rape

Republican Rep Paul Ryan, "Ryan co-sponsored legislation with Todd Akin to limit federal funding for abortion to victims of ‘forcible rape’ - as if there is any other kind of rape?"

Wisniewski is correct that Ryan and Akin co-sponsored legislation in July 2010 and January 2011 that, as originally written, limited federal funding for abortions to pregnancies resulting from "forcible rape" and certain other circumstances.

Rape is a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse, which is initiated by one or more persons against another person without that person's consent.

The Republicans have a serious problem with respect for women and the rights of women, since the result of the 2010 Elections the Republicans have established, "a War on Women and the rights of Women" this will result in part of the President winning the Election on November 6th 2012 with a vast majority of the women's vote.

I used to get alarmed when Republican Politicians say derogatory and dangerous things about women. Then Republicans create policies, supporting the Private sector denying women equal rights in the work place and table Laws that deny women the right to Birth control, cancer screening the right to make an independent informed decision in the case of Rape or incest.

Republicans for Forcible Rape

Paul Ryan the former Republican Vice President Nominee co-sponsored a Bill in Congress re-defining Rape as "forcible Rape" that means a woman rejecting sexual contact by saying, No! is no longer enough if the man forces himself on her. If a man forces himself on her against her will, she would have to prove her un-approval in Court of Law.

Who are the Victims? RAPE, Abuse and INCEST

Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum
When a 12 year old  girl is the subject of rape or incest, shouldn't the parent of this child have the right to seek the medical assistance necessary to ensure that the child who may become pregnant does not bear a child whom she would not be ready for?. Under the Person-hood bill supported by Congressman Paul Ryan and Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum and passed by the Republican Congress would make it a crime a crime to seek the medical care necessary to prevent that pregnancy.

While Mitt Romney did not support Person-hood in 2007 his expressed this thought on meet the press, Romney’s “Political Perspective” In 2007: Life Begins At Conception. Romney: “I believe from a … political perspective that life begins at conception…. I don't pretend to know, if you will, from a theological standpoint when life begins.”

As Mitt Romney evolve as a candidate for President Mr Romney's views continue to shift to the far right in order to gain their support,  Romney was asked if he would support of a dangerous proposal, commonly called a “person-hood amendment,” that could potentially ban common forms of contraception like the birth control pill, as well as prevent a pregnant woman experiencing complications that threaten her life or health to obtain safe abortion care. Said Romney, “absolutely.” [Concord Monitor11/9/11]

1 out of every 6 American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime (14.8% completed rape; 2.8% attempted rape).

7% of girls in grades 5-8 and 12% of girls in grades 9-12 said they had been sexually abused.

Republican and Tea Party support person-hood

PERSON-HOOD BILL

“A ballot measure going before voters in Mississippi on Nov. 8 would define :-

The term ‘person’ in the State Constitution to include, "fertilized human eggs" and grant to fertilized eggs the, "legal rights and protections that apply to people".

  • Besides outlawing all abortions with no exceptions for, rape or incest or when a woman's life is in danger,
  • banning any contraception that may prevent implantation of a fertilized egg, including birth control pills, the amendment carries many implications,
  •  It could curtail medical research involving embryos, shutter fertility clinics and put doctors in legal jeopardy for providing needed medical care that might endanger a pregnancy.
  • Pregnant women also could become subject to criminal prosecution.
  • A fertilized egg might be eligible to inherit money or be counted when drawing voting districts by population.
  • Numerous laws use the terms '’person’' or ’'people,’' there would be no shortage of unintended consequences…
This extreme measure would protect zygotes at the expense of all women while creating a legal quagmire -- at least until the courts rule it unconstitutional, as they should.” [New York Times10/28/11]

"Pregnancy as a result of Rape is something that God intended to happen."

Senate Candidate Richard Mourdock
"Pregnancy as a result of Rape is something that God intended to happen."
Republican Senate Candidate Richard Mourdock on Rape.

"The only exception I have to have an abortion is in the case of the life of the mother," said Mourdock, the Tea Party-backed state treasurer. "I struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize life is that gift from God. I think that even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen."

"Richard Mourdock's disturbing comment about rape is a window into Mourdock's extreme view of the world, " said Shripal Shah, spokesman for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. "Indiana can't afford to send a self-proclaimed 'zealot' and Tea Partier like Richard Mourdock to the Senate."

Romney policy is that there will be exceptions for rape.
Mitt Romney said Tuesday he has no plans to push for legislation limiting abortion, a softer stance from a candidate who has said he would "get rid of" funding for Planned Parenthood and appoint Supreme Court justices who would overturn Roe v. Wade.
“There’s no legislation with regards to abortion that I’m familiar with that would become part of my agenda,” the Republican presidential nominee told The Des-Moines Register in an interview.
His comments to the Register could put him at odds with congressional Republicans who have made limiting abortion central to their messages. His own running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), has introduced bills to restrict access to abortion, and the Republican Party platform toughened its anti-abortion stance earlier this year.
Ryan would confer legal rights on a fetus .
This August, Paul Ryan told a reporter, “ I've always adopted the idea, the position that, the method of conception does not change the definition of life,” Ryan said, referring to rape or incest. “But the Romney policy is that there will be exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother, and I think that is what people want to know, and I am comfortable with that because I think that’s a vast improvement to the status quot.”
Ryan has also supported so-called person-hood measures that would confer legal rights on a fetus (and thus potentially lead to the banning of all abortions). Last year, he cosponsored a federal bill that said that “each human life begins with fertilization, cloning or its functional equivalent, at which time every human has all legal and constitutional attributes and privileges of person-hood.”
Romney has never explicitly endorsed such a law, though he has said, as do many abortion foes, that he believes life begins at conception. Instead, his spokesman said in November 2011, “he believes these matters should be left up to states to decide.”

Pres. Obama made free contraception available for all women, which actually legislates and codifies “rare” in public policy. This is the seminal misunderstanding Republicans have about government power. They want to use state and federal power to force women to give birth, while Democrats under Pres. Obama want to utilize policy to make unwanted pregnancy not only rare, but obsolete.

Republican war on women, Legitimate Rape!

"This is not Politics, this is part of the the systematic March by Republicans Party to piece by piece Take away the rights of women returning them to the dark corners of Southern Society and wreck the pro choice movement".

Rep Paul Ryan and Rep Tod Aiken tied by Forcible  Rape!
"If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down. But let's assume that maybe that didn't work or something. I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be on the rapist and not attacking the child."

Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.), a U.S. Senate candidate, Someone really saying what the Republicans believe. This was one of the very narrow points discussed by Paul Ryan, Todd Aiken and the other 222 republicans who passed the Law redefining Rape.

The intentions of Republicans is to take away the voices of women overturn Roe v wade apply so much pressure that they become fearful and return to the days of second class Citizens Barefooted and pregnant in front of a wooden stove. This is not fear mongering, since the 2010 Elections Republicans in State Houses and in Congress have introduced over 500 pieces of legislation from restricting the right of women to make Family choices from denying them Birth control and Cancer screening to prenatal Care.

What Rep Todd Akin said is part of the discussion of how we got here, these were anecdotes from meetings around the restrictions of, women's rights by kinning pro choice. The Republicans cannot separate themselves from Todd Aiken, Paul Ryan will still be the Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Paul Ryan will still be the symbol of re-defining Rape or re-classifications of Rape as Forcible Rape. If Paul Ryan's Forcible Rape Law were to be adopted, a woman who is a victim of Rape would be a victim twice, once by her attacker and then before a court of law defending whether her attack was forcible or not. Which woman would want to suffer that indignity Twice?.

Fairness in Taxes

Mitt Romney chose Paul Ryan as his running Mate in the upcoming Presidential Elections. There are visible similarities, the most obvious is both are men, white, and each have beautiful families which until 2008 when Senator John McCain chose 1/2 term Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate temporarily changed the mentality of the Republican Party.

"I want to be your President but my Taxes is none of your Business'!
For Months Republicans and Democrats have encouraged Mitt Romney to release multiple years of his Income Tax Returns to allay concerns he may be hiding something with earning upwards of $20 Million annually but consistently pays less percentage on this income than the average American who earns $33 Thousand Dollars per year.

Mitt Romney from all account is a wealthy man and may be generous, he claim to donate 10% of his income to charity, without disclosure of his Tax returns the assumption is that the majority of those charitable contributions go to the Mormon Church. From the little disclosure so far the American people learn Mitt Romney pays 13% on his $21 million dollar income in 2010, the average American Pays between 28-38% on incomes from $33 Thousand to $600 Thousand Dollars. Most people under the $33 thousand income level today depending on their deductions could pay no Taxes due to several temporary tax cuts since 2009.

Have more Money pay less Taxes

To re-enforce the Income Tax disparity conversation Paul Ryan this week released his 2 complete years 2010 and 2011 income tax returns. We learn in 2010 on an income of $215 thousand dollars the Ryan's paid 16% Taxes and in 2011 on an income of $323 dollars taxes were assessed at 20%, the Ryan's paid more Taxes on less income than his Presidential Candidate who earned more income in one day than the Ryan's did in a year.Ryan's income of $538 thousand dollars in the last two years is Paltry compared to the $42 million Mitt Romney reportedly earn in the last two years.

"President Obama as part of his economic plan would raise Taxes whatever Americans earn over 1 Million Dollars per year. These income earners would pay the same taxes and enjoy the same benefits as everyone else up to that  million dollar and then the Taxes would be imposed".

Mitt Romney as part of his Economic plan would cut Taxes for all Americans by a further 20% that means Mitt Romney would pay even less on his $20 million income from early estimates this would bring Romney's Tax Bill to from estimates 0-2 1/2% Taxes and his running mate Paul Ryan Tax Bill to about 15% a not so bad deal.

"There is one fundamental problem with the Mitt Romney Tax reduction plan, the American Economy cannot afford another 20% Tax Cut including the richest Americans at this time if we did this the deficit would explode".

Recently we found out that Americans and American Company's are paying less Taxes than any time in our history regardless of what the Politics insist. Secondly American and International Conglomerates who invest in America have more money ( cash in the bank) than any time in history.
