20 Babies Murdered Not enough to get Sen. Marco Rubio Support!

Senator Marco Rubio please stand up for something!

Politicians without courage, A thoughtful Senator Marco Rubio join the throng of Politicians who believe loyalty to the NRA is more important than protection of our children. Not even the murder of 20 babies in Connecticut can shake the hold the NRA have on Sen. Marco Rubio. If one of these children were Sen. Marco Rubio's child, would that make a difference? that the standard set by certain Senators on progressive issues, if you are gay it is immoral and against the conscience of the political right unless that child is Sen. Rob Portman's son.Once on the short-list to be Mitt Romney's 2012 running mate, Republican Sen. Rob Portman reversed his opposition to gay marriage while revealing that his own son is gay.

Marco Rubio filibuster gun control legislation.

Is the Republican and some Democratic opposition to Gun Control a matter of Principle, protecting a right under Second amendment or lack of courage and will to protect the American people?.Since the murder of 20 Babies  and 6 adults in Connecticut there have been over 3000 other murders by gun in the United States +355 in California alone.

Gun deaths by homicide, suicide or accident peaked at 37,666 in 1993 before declining to a low of 28,393 in 2000, the data show. Since then the total has risen to 31,328 in 2010, an increase of 2,935, or eight more victims a day. The FBI estimates that there are over 200 million privately-owned firearms in the US. If you add those owned by the military, law enforcement agencies and museums, there is probably about 1 gun per person in the country.

If you want to get a rough idea of how many guns there are out there just look at how many people you see out there then multiply by a factor of estimated ownership. The last best guess was about 350,000,000 Total. That would be 1 weapon for every man woman and child. The average gun enthusiast owns several firearms which includes pistols, shotguns, and rifles of all makes and models. It is often estimated that about 1 in 4 people own any firearms and on average firearms owners own 4 guns each.
