The fact is Christmas really begin just about the middle of December in Jamaica when office Parties get underway just about every whereto get those festivities over and done. Offices become dance clubs and over crowded clubs Hotel Ball Rooms and entertainment facilities stretch their staff to the limits to keep up with free entertainment at the expense of corporate Bosses feeling gratified boasting the riches of their corporations and sharing the holiday spirit.

Corporations spare nothing to make sure their staff and corporate friends have a wonderful thank you during the Christmas holiday season, sparing nothing in food beverage and entertainment from one office to the next breaking out the champagne and clinging Glasses to cheers an well wishes as they close the year.

This year Christmas 2014 is a little different this is a way long holiday weekend Wednesday through Sunday, Jamaicans will after Christmas celebrate Boxing Day, Wikipedia-  Boxing Day is traditionally the day following Christmas Day, when servants and tradesmen would receive gifts, known as a "Christmas box", from their bosses or employers.

In Jamaica what ever our bosses give for Christmas the do before Christmas day however as a former British colony we still celebrate Boxing Day along with United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, South Africa, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago and other Commonwealth nations, as well as Norway, France and Sweden.
